Laura Bicāne (born 18 June 1990) is a Latvian singer and songwriter, who.[1] will participate in Eirodziesma 2012 with her own song "Freakin' Out", where the winner of the final will be qualified to participate in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.
Bicane studied at Špoģi music and art school where she learned how to play the accordion. She is currently studying at Daugavpils Music school. Since 2007 Bicane has participated in various music festivals in the Latvian region of Latgale. In 2010 she achieved a second place in the German Live Act contest "Fehmarn sucht den Inselstar". In 2011 she gave solo concerts in the French city Armiens. Bicane has created over 80 songs including songs in French and German. At the moment 8 of her songs are played in the Latgalian radio (Latgolys radeja).
